LIQUID BALANCE
LIQUID BALANCE is a wind and water - driven kinetic stainless steel/aluminum sculpture, where water falls from the top onto oscillating discs, which move slowly around their horizontal axis, as the water falls from the disc above. Due to the unpredictable water distribution, LIQUID BALANCE is always in motion and changes shape constantly. An electric drive could be added to rotate all metal part changing the silhouette and enriching the overall impact all the time.
At night the motion of the discs create interesting moving light reflections on the surrounding floor.
This sculpture was jointly designed with Ralf Gschwend.
LIQUID BALANCE wants to be integrated into a fountain base, pond or lake.
